Father’s Day

29 08 2009

As we are working on bringing our contemporary stainless jewellery to you, you might have noticed the feature in the Dominion Post on August 27. One of our most popular pieces, the spider web diamond set cufflinks were featured in a giveaway. I wonder who’s going to be the lucky winner. Drop us a line if you are – it would be good to hear from you.

Everybody is talking about Father’s Day. If you need ideas for Father’s  Day on 6 September you could consider a niece  stainless steel piece of jewellery from our German A*D collection.

Men’s bangles and bracelets come in many designs. Ours are beautifully made in Germany and feature complementary materials such as carbon fibre and leather. Check out http://www.carsonfairall.co.nz for more detailed descriptions and you’ll be amazed how much effort and skill goes into making these!

A more mainstream gift might be a pendants. One of our new dog tags has a slate insert making it a substantial pendant that would look good on a leather cord or stainless steel chain. Not only does it look great, it feels wonderful and would be a great gift for Dad. Our crosses come in many interesting designs and sizes – would you consider engraving a message on the back or front of the piece?

And for the Dad who is young at heart maybe one of  our stainless steel earrings – these great designs feature stud earrings and hoops.

Many items can be combined into matching sets to create gifts for all budgets that will be delivered beautifully wrapped for your convenience.

Gifts for the Wedding Party

17 08 2009

I went to Cornwall Park on Thursday and the daffodils and tulips are out in all their glory. The trees does not show any sign of growth yet, but it is just a matter of weeks now, and  spring is on it’s way.

Spring and Summer here in New Zealand is a very popular time to get married, so today I thought I would look at some of the gorgeous jewellery at Carson Fairall Jewellery that could be used as gifts for your wedding party.

For your gorgeous little flower girls what better than a sterling silver charm bracelet, with some of our fun charms. My personal favourite is the little jandal(flip-flop), and I know that Katja has her eyes on the sexy cowboy boot. Personally I think you need the whole set – which includes the sunglasses and the ballet slipper – oh and of course – no charm bracelet will be complete without a heart.

Staying with the heart theme – what better theme for a wedding – I suggest that you have a look at some of the funky hearts in the Carson Fairall Jewellery Bastian collection. Bastian brings out a new collection twice a year – and once these pieces are sold out you have to wait to see what new stunning designs they come up with in their next collection, so if you see something your heart desires – don’t wait – buy it now.

I am sure any bridesmaid will be very happy to receive one of these hearts as a gift to remember your wedding day.

For the groomsmen looking after your husband to be Carson Fairall Jewellery have some stunning A*D Stainless Steel jewellery designed and made in Germany. You could have the most stylish groomsmen wearing some of our cufflinks – the spiderweb, or the kiwi look cufflinks is what I would choose for my groomsmen.

If the dress code is more casual have a look at the stunning slate dog tag – or one of our stunning selection of crosses. For all these pendants we have the perfect matching chain, or leather necklet to match.

So here you have some ideas for gifts for the groomsmen, bridesmaids and flower girls in your wedding party, but why don’t you have a look at http://www.carsonfairall.co.nz – I am sure you will find the perfect gift for the bride, mother of the bride and the groom as well.
